Outdoor Inflatable Special Steel Structure Fire Retardant Coating is designed for the fire protection of steel structures in specialized buildings (such as petrochemical facilities and transformer substations). Using advanced formulations and scientific design methods, it enhances the fire resistance of special steel structures. This product has received the Fire Product Certification from the Emergency Management Department’s Fire Product Quality Certification Center and has passed type approval testing by the National Fire and Flame Retardant Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. It meets all performance standards and is at the forefront of domestic technology.
Application Range
Suitable for fire protection of steel structures in specialized buildings, petrochemical facilities, transformer substations, power plants, substations, coal mines, factories, warehouses, pipe supports, car garages, oil drilling platforms, oil storage facility supports, and other indoor and outdoor steel structures.
Product features
excellent adhesion, water resistance, chemical resistance, and aging resistance. It is also highly resistant to freeze-thaw cycles, salt spray corrosion, exposure to high temperatures, and humidity.

Construction process
1. Before application, thoroughly remove dust and loose rust from the surface of the steel structure, ensuring the surface is clean and free of oil. According to design requirements, remove rust and apply a rust-resistant primer. Typically, apply two coats of high-quality rust-resistant paint.
2. Mix the coating thoroughly. To ensure good adhesion, the first coat should be relatively thin, not exceeding 1mm thickness.
3. After the previous coat is dry to the touch (approximately 6 hours), proceed with the next layer of spraying. The thickness of the coating can be increased appropriately until it reaches the required thickness corresponding to the desired fire resistance time.
4. If the coating becomes thick during application, you can dilute it with a suitable amount of thinner. However, do not add excessive thinner, as it may affect the adhesion and fire resistance properties of the coating.
5. The construction environment should have a temperature between 0°C and 50°C and a relative humidity below 85%. Ensure a favorable environment for application, avoid exposure to rain, and use the coating on the same day once opened. Please use all of the coating once opened if any unused coating should be sealed tightly again.
NOTE: Professional application is required, and use the designated thinner for dilution. Ensure proper ventilation during application and strictly prohibit smoking and open flames.
Important Notes
Store the product in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse with a temperature between 3°C and 40°C. Protect from direct sunlight. The shelf life is 6 months. Packaging and transportation should be protected from rain and moisture.
