Outdoor Non-Inflatable Steel Structure Fire Retardant Coating (Ultra-Thin)

Outdoor Non-Inflatable Steel Structure Fire Retardant Coating is applied to the surface of steel structural components in buildings. The coating itself is non-combustible and does not undergo significant volume changes when exposed to fire. It forms a fire-resistant and insulating protective layer, excluding oxygen and providing a barrier against heat radiation. With very low thermal conductivity, it delays the transfer of heat, thereby enhancing the fire resistance of the steel components. This product has been awarded the "Fire Product Certification" by the Emergency Management Department’s Fire Product Quality Certification Center and has passed type approval testing by the National Fire and Flame Retardant Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. It meets all performance standards and is at the forefront of domestic technology.

Application Range

Outdoor Non-Inflatable Steel Structure Fire Retardant Coating is widely used for fire protection of steel structures in airports, power plants, petrochemical industries, drilling platforms, warehouses, sports arenas, commercial plazas, industrial plants, and high-rise buildings.

Product features

The coating features low thermal conductivity, lightweight, excellent water and weather resistance, and good impact resistance, crack resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. It does not peel or age easily, provides superior fire insulation, and offers extended fire resistance time.

Export safety

This product is not only supplied to the domestic market but is also exported to Europe, America, and several other countries, meeting both domestic and international market demands. It complies with relevant standards and has obtained the necessary export qualifications.

Construction process

1. Before application, thoroughly remove dust and loose rust from the steel structure's surface. Ensure the surface is clean and free of oil. Follow the design specifications to remove rust and apply an anti-rust primer. Typically, apply two coats of high-quality anti-rust paint.

2. This coating is suitable for both spraying and troweling applications (spraying is recommended). When applied by spraying, it results in a uniformly textured surface with a granular appearance.

3. Mix the coating thoroughly. For the first coat, prepare the adhesive by mixing in a weight ratio of (binder: water = 1.3kg: 2.0kg), then add the powder in a ratio of (powder: adhesive = 3kg: 3.3kg), and mix well. The thickness of the first coat should not exceed 4mm. After the first coat is dry to the touch, apply the second coat. For the second coat, mix powder and water in the desired ratio, maintaining a thickness of 3-6mm per coat until the required thickness is achieved. For the final coat, prepare the adhesive in a weight ratio of (binder: water = 0.3kg: 2.7kg), then add the powder in a ratio of (powder: adhesive = 3kg: 3kg), and mix well. Use the prepared mixture as soon as possible.

4. Construction should be carried out in a well-ventilated indoor environment. Avoid exposure to rain and ensure the temperature is above 0°C.

NOTE: Professional application is required, and use our company's specially formulated binder. The mixed wet material must be used within 2 hours.

Important Notes

Store the product in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse with a temperature between 5°C and 38°C. Protect from direct sunlight, moisture, and rain. Store the specialized binder at temperatures above 3°C. Packaging and transportation should be protected from rain and moisture. The shelf life is 6 months.
